Wheelchair Dance Embodiment Through Generative AI

This project explores gesture-controlled AI generation for wheelchair dance, integrating emerging technology to enhance the relationship between dancers and their assistive devices. Using body segmentation, the system captures the dancer and wheelchair as a unified body, extracting movement features to generate images that visualize movement quality. This approach empowers wheelchair dancers to create personalized visual narratives, expanding the creative potential of disability dance.
