Bank of America
interior design, space planning, 3D modeling, site research, user research
The Bank of America retail branch design is a 1200 square foot multipurpose and collaborative space aimed at providing a flexible, enjoyable, and seamless banking experience. The design is inspired by MICR codes, symbolizing innovation, community, and connection. It emphasizes the connection between banking and everyday life, individual and community, heritage and future, and technology and social interaction. The exterior features a curved flow covered with a distinctive MICR-inspired pattern that connects the two outdoor ATMs with the interior. The interior spaces are designed with an emphasis on interpersonal interaction, flexibility, and user-centered concentration. The MICR codes are incorporated into the interior feature wall and teller space, and there is a 500 square foot lounge area that can be used for various purposes. The back of the building features a small video conference room and a private meeting room that are flexible for multiple uses while preserving privacy.
